Aari Ona Arte Galerie à Pau

Since its inception in 2008, Aari Ona Arte, formerly known as La Maison Moderne (a 1stdibs seller since 2015), has established itself as a source of unique furniture, lighting, decorative objects, and curiosities, in conjunction with contemporary art. Our collection includes the primitive and the modern, from the 17th to the 21st century, creating a discourse between the past and the present. The art component represents a group of internationally established and emerging contemporary artists from the sphere of influence between art and design. The founder of AOA, German-born Jens Eric Büttner, lived the last three decades in Paris and New York, before settling in 2020 in the foothills of the Pyrenees Atlantiques.
